Greetings,

It is most likely just an embedded advertisement from that site that is linked on the page/site you're visiting.  As long as it is being blocked Malwarebytes is doing it's job so there shouldn't be anything you need to worry about or any additional action you need to take.

If there is anything else we might assist you with or if you have any further questions please let us know and we'd be glad to help.

Thanks

I found the following info on hosts-file.net which is the online database managed by the lead Researcher from Malwarebytes for the Web Protection component:

https://hosts-file.net/default.asp?s=getviously

According to that information, the site is engaged in malware distribution, meaning they're currently hosting actual infections/threats and/or are functioning as a command and control/data collection site for some form of live malware.  My best guess based on what little additional info I was able to find is that they're most likely hosting some kind of exploit as the only page/sub-domain I could locate referenced anywhere in any online threat databases/web scanners etc. was getviously.com/js and js usually means Javascript (a common type of web code/scripting language which is sometimes used for malware such as exploits and file-less malware attacks and other potentially malicious content; though it is by no means always bad as Javascript is used heavily throughout the entire web across most websites you visit).

Given the fact that it keeps showing up, even in searches and on other sites it's possible that something may have snuck onto your PC.  That being the case I would advise you to read and follow the instructions found in this topic and then create a new topic including the requested logs and information in the malware removal section by clicking here and one of our malware removal specialists will assist you in checking your system for threats and getting it cleaned up if any are found, which should resolve any problems and eliminate the issue you're experiencing.  One of our malware removal specialists will reply to your new topic as soon as one becomes available.

If there is anything else we might assist you with please let us know and we will do all we can to help.

Thanks

Well something I can add about this issue is that the Malwarebytes popup only appears when I'm entering the website on Edge/Explorer. On Chrome, it appears even when I make a research on google about that particular website (not everytime I search for smthg), and it's the only one concerned about this.
So idk if you can draw any conclusion about that ? Also I just made a clean windows install a few hours ago so it would surprise me if I was infected with anything since I haven't gone anywhere on internet yet except youtube/facebook/etc. and this particular website.

Thank you for you help by the way

Given the nature of exploits and especially file-less malware, an infection is still a real possibility unfortunately, as just visiting an infected page could infect your system.  That said, the symptoms you describe make it sound as though it could be a simple DNS caching issue in your browsers causing the repeated blocks, as they do tend to perform lookups for previously visited sites under certain conditions/when performing certain activities like those you describe, so you might start there by clearing your history etc. in your browsers, perhaps going as far as clearing your DNS cache (let me know if you require instructions on how to do so; or you can use a more comprehensive temp/history cleaning tool such as CCleaner (just don't install any bundled apps it offers you unless you actually want them, or I can provide a link to the portable build which includes no such bundled software if you prefer) which should do the job of cleaning all your browsing history and cache etc.

Looks like it was, indeed, a DNS cache issue since the popup does not appear anymore on google search after clearing the cache. Still appearing when visiting the website though (which is perfectly legit by the way, as well as OP's), guess I'll just stop doing it ahah..

Noobie question here : is there anything these websites' managers/hosters can do about that ? For instance, would it be usefull to warn them about this issue or is it beyond their control ?

Again, thanks a lot for your help

Yep, sounds like that was it and I'm glad to hear it :)

Yes, you may certainly report it to them.  It could be the result of a hack or something or could just be a case of a third party advertising company (like Google Ad Services etc.) hosting the link/ad to the malicious page in their ad rotation and embedding it in their site, in which case they can certainly disable the ad until it's resolved or report it to the ad firm they're working with.  It's their site so they do have control over its content when it comes right down to it (though it is of course understandable if they aren't eager to completely disable all ads on their site as that could cost them serious revenue).

You can point them to our forums here as well as to the link to hosts-file.net that I showed you, and if they believe it is a false positive then they can report that here and the Research team will take another look at the site to verify that it's clean now.
