Little Snitch message saying invalid signature for RTProtectionDaemon

Recommended Posts

Got  message from Little Snitch saying RTProtectionDaemon has an invalid signature. Is there an issue, or is malware trying to access a Malwarebytes site pretending to be Malwarebytes?

This is a known issue with the way Little Snitch checks a cached value of code signatures after an app update. They are actively working with developers to come up with a long term fix for this. In the meanwhile you can either choose to “Ignore Code Signature” and establish a new rule, or try rebooting which will often clear the legacy cache problem.
