Only recently, each time I use my computer, I'm getting constant alerts of infected webpages and phishing alerts--the alerts come in doubles--each instance of it happening has the same url for the infected webpage and phishing attempt, but the different instances can have slightly different urls. I've reported them to official sites, but am still having these constant alerts. I've had great help from this forum in times past, and truly appreciate any help you could offer as soon as possible.

It looks like we didn't pick it up. Please try the following. We'll ignore that other part about the rootkit custom scan for now.

Please download the following scanner from Kaspersky and save it to your computer: TDSSkiller

Then watch the following video on how to use the tool and make sure to temporarily disable your security applications before running TDSSkiller.

PC Winvids - How to run Kaspersky TDSSKiller

If any infection is found please make sure to choose SKIP and post back the log in case of a False Positive detection.

Once the tool has completed scanning make sure to re-enable your other security applications.

Thank you

Ron

Thank you very much for the further input. Of course the concern is safety while the scan runs and if indeed there is a threat present on the computer. Does this seem the most likely and needed course of action in this case? Will watch the video and follow-up shortly (just getting over flu). Again, thank you for this continued assistance.

The most common issue is web page redirection and bogus or otherwise bad advertisements on web pages. Using a good Ad Blocker is almost mandatory nowadays. uBlock Origin and Ad Block Plus are a couple of the well known ones.

Please post back the log when ready
