MalwareBytes Error: 'Unable to connect to service'

I'm getting an "Unable to Connect to Server" error from Malwarebytes after a clean Win10 boot. I've attached diagnostic files as recommended.

Hello @jeffpurvin and :welcome:

You have the mbamservice disabled via msconfig

MSCONFIG\Services: MBAMService => 2

Please remove all of our services from MSCONFIG and then recheck. I would highly recommend not using MSCONFIG to control startup items. If you don't use the program then uninstall it. If you want the program but you don't want it to launch on startup then delete the startup item. Much better than setting it with a tool
