[ RESOLVED ] Malwarebytes, New Update?

Every time malwarebytes tells me I have a new update and I accept, it then asks me what language I want the program installed in and starts a "setup" like it's installing for the first time. Is this normal behavior?

Greetings and welcome

Yes, this is normal.  A new major version, 3.6.1, was released recently and whenever such a new version is available you'll have to run through the setup via an installer for the new version so that it can upgrade/update your installation to the newest version.  If you have any trouble you can try downloading and installing it manually from here or if you run into any problems with that you may perform a clean install, though that shouldn't be necessary unless something goes wrong during the installation:

1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced Options on the main page (not Get Started)
3. Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here
