safety tips for a new iphone owner?

Recommended Posts

hello everybody, i'm a mbam fan and now a new iphone owner. since this is my first iphone i'm still new on iOS and i'd like to ask you some safety tips in settings, browsing ecc.

for example, is there any safety setting i should keep off/on? how do i avoid getting into malicious websites when browsing from iOS and what could happen? how do i keep my data (and, mostly my accounts' data) safe from spying?

thanks

With iOS and it's apps, most such safety features are built in and not user adjustable. Malware attacks against a non-jailbroken device have been almost non-existent, to date.

Under Settings->Safari you might want to look at Autofill to make sure you are comfortable allowing each of the settings listed. Disabling them will probably make you think twice before entering that type of information, but will require more time to remember and enter it. I elect to allow it all, but you may feel differently.

Block Pop-ups should be enabled.

In Contact Blockers, both options from Malwarebytes should be enabled.
