BBCiPlayer--dangerous?

I carried out a manual scan of my laptop with Windows 7 using your marvellous free Malwarebytes which found two files with Backdoor.bots. After quarantining them and rescanning they did not reappear. What horrified me the most was the files that they were found in; they were BBC iplayer downloads files. Should the BBC be notified that their iplayer download system is spreading malware or perhaps more to the point, should the public be made aware of the danger?

Thank you for your quick and positive response. However I have suddenly lost interest in these items in spite of your assurance so i shall probably leave them where they are!
