Trying to install Malwarebytes

I am trying to install Malwarebytes on my iMac and keep getting this message my os is at High Sierra 10.13  What am I missing?

You're definitely not on High Sierra... the button styles shown in that screenshot are an older design. I'd guess that looks like Mac OS X 10.9 or 10.8. You can find out for sure by choosing About This Mac from the Apple menu.

Thank you for the reply, I am very new to this and see that you are correct, I am on 10.9.5 but when I click on the software update it takes me to the App Store and there it has the header of macOS High Sierra but the button says that it is installed?

You may have already downloaded the High Sierra installer, but have not actually run it. In that case, the installer itself is "installed," but High Sierra is not.

Be aware that upgrading from a machine running 10.9 to 10.13 is not an insignificant thing, and depending on the age of the machine, it may or may not run High Sierra very well. Similarly, your apps may or may not be compatible with High Sierra. I'd recommend getting in touch with Apple support before you install the upgrade, just to make sure it's going to work.
