shawnsbrain66 Posted August 23, 2018 ID:1265176 Share Posted August 23, 2018 My Ransomware protection won't turn on. Nothing happens when I click the button (as opposed to turning it on, and it turning itself off... this is NOT that). I did have a permissions issue on my computer, I assume it is related to that. Is there a folder or something I can check permissions in?

Solution dcollins Posted August 23, 2018 Solution ID:1265179 Share Posted August 23, 2018 It looks like you have some exclusions setup for your network drives, which most likely aren't mounted when Malwarebytes starts. We have a fix for this coming soon, but for now, you'll need to remove these exclusions and then restart Malwarebytes.
shawnsbrain66 Posted August 24, 2018 Author ID:1265243 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Thanks for your response. FYI: It was all working until a couple days ago when I accidentally messed up some permissions on my computer. I can't remove the network exclusions because MB was removing valid binary executables (EXE's) from my server. What about setting the MB service to delayed start? Otherwise I'll just have to wait for the fix.
dcollins Posted August 24, 2018 ID:1265290 Share Posted August 24, 2018 You could try setting delayed start, but no guarantees it will solve the problem unfortunately. The fix should be out soon-ish, no ETA yet though
