We have several production controllers running Windows XP Pro that control legacy production machines -- these need some form of malware protection.  I've tried to install Malwarebytes 3.5.x, but partway thru the install I get advised that this version is not supported on Windows XP, so the installation reverts.  In my inventory of uninstalled but purchased software, I have a 3-PC license of Malwarebytes 2.0.2 which WILL install AND update the definitions AND scan properly.  But, I keep getting application upgrade notifications that ultimately will try and fail because they initiate the installation of ver. 3.5.x.  Is there a way to kill the application upgrade notifications and avoid application upgrades?

2nd Question: I see from your product compatibility information that there is a version of Malwarebytes Antimalware 2.2.x that was produced -- where might I get an installer for this product version?

Greetings,

The last supported version of Malwarebytes for Windows XP is actually 3.5.x, however it is not the latest build.  You can find out more about it here and the download link for the last supported version for Windows XP and Windows Vista is here.

If there is anything else we can help you with please let us know.

Thanks
