JeanInMontana Posted August 20, 2007 ID:7792 Share Posted August 20, 2007 (edited) Full scan 30:15 ignore list worked flawlessly. Data base updated to 131. 6632 fingerprints. Glad to see a new release.Quick scan 3:12. Edited August 20, 2007 by JeanInMontana to add quick scan stats.
joe53 Posted August 20, 2007 ID:7797 Share Posted August 20, 2007 MBAM 0.68 now opens without that "730 error". And I can now ignore detections.Database version: 132/6754 fingerprints loadedQuick scan:Objects scanned: 11948Objects infected: 4 (all .tmp files, all false positives)Time elapsed: 1 min. 26 sec.Full scan:Objects scanned: 70168Objects infected: 4 (the same 4 FPs that the quick scan detected)Time elapsed: 19 min. 22 sec. When I run a second quick scan, (without first closing/re-opening MBAM) I got a Run-Time Error '13': Type mismatch popup. Click on [OK] and MBAM closes. If I close MBAM after a scan, and re-open it, I can run scans without receiving this error.
JeanInMontana Posted August 20, 2007 ID:7798 Share Posted August 20, 2007 OK my first post was using the update feature in the version I had. Then I saw I had a link in email so I uninstalled and installed the new one. DB 132 6754 finger prints, Quick Scan in 3:17 12060 objects scanned Full scan 27:42 83804 objects. It found the Antivir update and did ignore just fine. It also worked for file delete, and save bug report, save scan report. Report bug, and f/p open OE all ready to go. I tried to recreate Joe53's error and can't.

JeanInMontana Posted August 30, 2007 ID:7987 Share Posted August 30, 2007 Updated to 133 ran full system scan it ran fine, found the updates for AntiVir, added them to ignore list fine. joe53 Posted August 31, 2007 ID:7989 Share Posted August 31, 2007 I can replicate JeanInMontana's error above whenever the quick scan follows a fullscan (or a prior quick scan), unless I first close/re-open mbam.Interestingly, this error does not appear if you follow a quick scan with a full scan. JeanInMontana Posted September 13, 2007 ID:8238 Share Posted September 13, 2007 Is there anyway we could get notices of available updates? A mass email to beta testers maybe? I just did the update to 139 and scan/ignore work fine still get runtime error 13 if I switch to quick scan from full without closing.
