Notifications About Riskware Blocked

Recommended Posts

Sir/ Ma'am,

Hard to work with notification from Malwarebytes about riskware block. Ocean2.directprimal.com coming from a particular site. Any way to acknowledge and allow block to continue without warning box appearance over and over again?

Thanks!

Greetings,

Unfortunately I believe the only way at this time to disable these notifications would be to disable all Malwarebytes notifications.  If you wish to do so, open Malwarebytes and navigate to Settings>Application and locate the Notifications section then change the setting Show Malwarebytes notifications in the Windows System Tray to Off and that should eliminate the notifications, though also keep in mind it will also eliminate most other notifications from Malwarebytes.  That said, you will still be notified of any critical issues such as protection components being disabled/malfunctioning so you shouldn't miss anything too essential.  You just won't be notified when a threat is blocked and/or removed by the various real-time protection components in Malwarebytes, but if you don't need to see them, then it's fine and of course you may always review the Reports and Quarantine tabs in the main Malwarebytes program window if you do need to review any past detections and/or items removed by the software.

If there is anything else we might assist you with, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks
