ShortwaveAllwaveRadioToolsPaid?

Recommended Posts

Hello, is ShortwaveAllwaveRadioToolsPaid, really malware or an F/P?

Some AV vendors, trigger this as malware, Esset, AhnLab V3, Alibaba, Anity-AVL,  Avast-Mobile, Avira, Babable, CAT-QuickHeal,

here are 15 pieces that do this with me through this app, https://support.virustotal.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002146549-Mobile-apps ads. And some also show malware on the site with me on the smartphone are installed. Unfortunately, it is a paid version. Place of origin was a German Google play store. Manufacturer page is, http://app.jmb.mx/.

Who can confirm that this is malware or many false alarms?

Thanks.

MAM

Hello, unfortunately, I did not want to use this app yesterday, but it did not work. This app is now installed on my Android device. How do I get MD5 now?

Hi @MAM,

Yes, I see this on VirusTotal.  The question is if this is the exact md5/version currently on Google Play?  One way or another, the MD5 found on VirusTotal seems harmless in my opinion.

Well, I don´t know really. The Source was german Google play store, and it is a paid version.

You mean really that is harmless, a big false positive from the other vendors?

Hi @MAM,

I couldn't tell you.  That's a question for those other vendors.  All I can say is that through my own personal analysis I found no reason to classify myself.
