Pictus shows up as malware?

I was looking for ways to show .PSD Photoshop file thumbnails in my windows 10 folders/file explorer. I found this little codec here https://poppeman.se/pictus/ called Pictus and it's free, the problem is that Malwarebytes extension blocks the download due reputation. (Error message: Download blocked due reputation).

This tool would really help me speed up my work flow, and I was wondering what this error really means and if there's any chance it's a false positive?

Virustotal shows it as clean/not detected, which suggests it's probably a FP by the Malwarebytes extension.

You could download the installer and double check by scanning the downloaded installer file with MB3, Windows Defender, and/or your own particular Anti-Virus.

If it still shows as OK then it probably is.
