If you are having technical issues with our Windows product, please do the following:

If you haven’t already done so, please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool and then attach the logs in your next reply:

NOTE: The tools and the information obtained is safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.

  • Download Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file
  • Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program
    • You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent.
  • Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next
  • You will be presented with a page stating, "Welcome to the Malwarebytes Support Tool!"
  • Click the Advanced Options link

  • Click the Gather Logs button

  • A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed to gather troubleshooting information from your computer
  • Upon completion, click OK
  • A file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop
  • Please attach the file in your next reply. Before submitting your reply, be sure to enable "Notify me of replies" like so:

Same issue here but I'm using Axis Camera Station v5.17.019 with Malwarebytes v3.5.1.2522.  MPEG streams and recordings from my IP camera are not blocked but the preferred H.264 streams/recording are. 

Submitted support ticket 2344447 but haven't heard back aside from the automated email reply.

Yes, unfortunately the Developers are still working to fix this issue so it wasn't corrected in the recent component update, but hopefully they will find and fix the root of the problem soon.  Once it is fixed, it will be noted among the changes/fixes in the release notes for the version it gets fixed in which are posted in a pinned topic at the top of this area of the forums, so keeping an eye out there for new releases and checking the changes posted would be a good idea to determine when it's been fixed.  In the meantime the only workaround is still to disable Web Protection while using an application affected by this issue.

With that said, there is a Malwarebytes browser plugin currently in beta available that can offer some protection, at least for your web browser, that you can add to your protection if you use Chrome or any Chromium based browser or Mozilla Firefox.  You can find more info about it as well as links to get it in the following topics:
