Malwarebytes Premium Licence Length

Hi! I'm new to this forum and don't know if this is the appropriate section for this question, but I'd just thought I'd shoot it out there.

My dad gave me his "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium" disc and license key, but I had completely forgot that I had it and never put it on my computer, so it's been over a year since he bought it. The license is for 1 year and 3 PCs, does that mean it's good for 1 year from the date it's first used or is it one year on each PC? I'm getting a new laptop soon, and just want to know if I would be able to use this or if I'll need to buy a new one.

Your key is good for one year from the date it is first used.

You can still install it on your new laptop that you are getting soon, but the expiration date on that key will remain the same from your original computer.
