Aura Posted June 6, 2018 ID:1248381 Share Posted June 6, 2018 Sadly as stated by ID-Ransomware, there's currently no way to decrypt files encrypted by PClock (Updated) for free. The only thing you can do is restore them from a previous back up, if you have one. Otherwise, I suggest that you back them up somewhere safe and hope that a free decryption solution will be released in the future. Was there anything else you needed assistance with? It isn't a matter of having a software that can open the files, it's a matter of having a way to decrypt the files so they can be used again. Right now, they're encrypted and the data they hold has been modified in a way that makes the files not usable. Quote and someone working on something that will open PClock (Updated)? because it seems like this one not getting attention. Pretty much every Ransomware gets analysed by experts once they are discovered. If a weakness in the encryption routine cannot be found, then the only other solution is to grab the private key used to encrypt the files. But most of the time, that private key is uploaded to a server and only the authorities can seize them, assuming they manage to identify, locate and seize the server.
