Mini Tool Partition Wizard Free, False Positive?

Recommended Posts

This is Michael, the Marketing manager for MiniTool Solution. The developers of "MiniTool Partition Wizard" and "MiniTool Power Data Recovery" software. I'm writing here today for the removal of the riskware detections on our New software, MiniTool Mobile Recovery for iOS

Official Sites:

MiniTool Mobile Recovery for iOS: http://www.minitool.com/ios-recovery.html

Download Url:

Windows edition: http://minitool.com/download/IDRsetup_free_b1348_r2919.exe

Windows Giveaway edition: http://www.minitool.com/download/IDRsetup_giveaway_b1428_r3007.exe

Recently, some customers report that when they try to install the giveaway edition ( http://www.minitool.com/download/IDRsetup_giveaway_b1428_r3007.exe) they get a error report by

Malwarebytes. It showed Malwarebytes detected some  Trojan as below

After check, we  locking issue occurs on the file "unins000.exe", but we do not find any trojan on it , we also test it with www.virustotal.com  but find nothing either.

Please recheck, thanks.

Can you zip and attach the exact file that was detected, because I cannot reproduce detection on any of the above files.

I just installed hte MiniTool and Malware blocked "PUP.Optional.FusionCore"

I assume either a false positive or whatever it was, malware blocked it.  I scanned the system and came up clean.
