While checking the Reports, I noticed that an event titled, "Website Blocked" had been registered several times.

The last entry reads as:

I accessed my Netgear WNDR4500 router and blocked any remote access from port 22, (as well as deselecting the Remote Access option within Control Panel, System, Remote Settings), however, I cannot seem to locate the root cause of this access attempt.   I'm not the only user of this PC, so I've been carefully trying to exam the history.

If you haven’t already done so, please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool and then attach the logs in your next reply:

  • A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed to gather troubleshooting information from your computer
  • Upon completion, click OK

This could just be an ad on websites you're trying to visit, but if you gather the logs mentioned above we can take a look

I believe the logs he was referring to were these; they provide additional details about your Malwarebytes installation, system and Malwarebytes detection event history:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced Options on the main page (not Get Started)
  3. Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply

Instructions on gathering the logs are also listed in the automated response (the first reply to your topic here if you expand the section that says Reveal hidden contents below where it says technical issues).
