Privacy Policy about data that is collected by Malwarebytes

Recommended Posts

In my place of work, the wifi is open to the public and we don't monitor at all what goes through our computers or wifi network. What is malware bytes privacy policy when it comes to sharing any data it collects on our  computers or network usage? I would hope that this data is not shared with anyone for any reason and any request for it is denied.

It is not entirely clear to me from your privacy policy what data you collect. Let's say we use your Endpoint Protection cloud service for our business. When there is a report of a PUP, potentially harmful website, etc. doesn't this go into the dashboard for the company's administrator of the app, along with which endpoint/person the protection was triggered?

Yes, block events are logged and may be accessed via the cloud console by the administrator of your network who manages your clients.  This is for several reasons, not the least of which is to help determine when a breach has occurred by revealing patterns of several block events/detections etc. so that they may investigate what's going on with a particular endpoint and remove it from the network to prevent malware from spreading if necessary.
