exile360 Posted May 7, 2018 ID:1240598 Share Posted May 7, 2018 Greetings If you have only activated it on 2 machines so far and you have a 3 seat license then you should be able to simply download and install the latest version from here and then activate it using your license key as illustrated in this support article. exile360 Posted May 7, 2018 ID:1240635 Share Posted May 7, 2018 OK, please try the following: Restart the computer Launch Malwarebytes and try activating it with your license key again, but this time try to copy/paste the license key info if you were typing it previously and if you were copy/pasting it previously, then try typing it manually this time to see if either corrects it. Also make certain that you are entering the Key in the top box and the ID in the bottom box if you have both an ID and Key (they show up in reverse order in the UI when activating vs the order they appear in the paperwork/email containing your license info because newer license keys only have a single Key string and no ID string). If that still fails, make certain you are logged in as an administrator in Windows and if you weren't, try activating it again from your administrative user account. If it still isn't working, then please proceed with the next set of instructions to perform a clean installation to see if that fixes it or not. If the above instructions failed, proceed with the following: Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced Options on the main page (not Get Started) Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here Once that is complete, restart your system after Malwarebytes is installed again, then go ahead and try activating the software with your license information one more time. dcollins Posted May 7, 2018 ID:1240637 Share Posted May 7, 2018 @vokie85 when you say the activate button wouldn't work, do you mean it wasn't clickable, or you could click it and you got an error? If you got an error, please post a screenshot of the full error. If the button wasn't clickable though, that means the key was typed incorrectly. Since you have an ID and a key, make sure you're putting ID on the bottom and the key on top, which is different than how the program worked in 2x Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
