There are also several fixes you can try listed on this page.  In my experience with issues like this, the most likely fix to work is the one that resets Windows Update by deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder etc. (the one listed under How to reset Windows Update using Command Prompt).

You can also try Microsoft's Windows 10 Update Assistant https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3159635/windows-10-update-assistant to install the Windows 10 April 2018 update
