Deleted MSN Homepage & Bing Search Engine PUP.Optional.Legacy

Hey i used yesterday AdwCleaner and got an pup.optional.legacy

Deleted       MSN Homepage & Bing Search Engine

After i deleted it this chrome extension came.

Before the AdwCleaner detection it was not in chrome as an extension.

I need urgently help cause i cant work until it is fixed

Hello SebastianIron,

Please, follow the instructions in this post and scan&clean again. Chrome syncs history and preferences in the cloud, and after a clean, it downloads and installs the extension again. The post will help you disabling that sync.

Let us know if it works!

Im not logged in into my google chrome account i even deinstalled chrome and it still happened.

So right after a new chrome installment it happens again...

Can you share the scan log file please?

Also please try the following:

1. Uninstall Chrome again

2. Remove this folders:

• C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome
• C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome

3. Install Chrome again

Chrome uninstaller keeps profile and extensions folders/files in the computer, and that's probably why you still have that extension installed.

Can´t find the Folder after deinstallation... Im thinking about resetting my computer

There is not even one application synched. this is so weird why does it comes back and back
