New topic widget

I don't know if it's related or not, but the recent content widget just vanished from the board index for me right after I made the above post.  I noticed for the past several hours that it was getting longer than usual, listing more posts than it normally would so I don't know if it's related to that or what, but it doesn't exist at all right now, at least for me.

edit: Aaaand it's back.  Don't know why it was gone, but when it was, the forum looked like it used to back in the day before it was "optimized" for mobile screens where the board stretched across almost the entire width of my widescreen monitor.

I can't explain the widget disappearing but it currently up for me.

I've increase the number of topics shown from 5 to 10 on the widget, which is why it's longer than usual.

Nope, no other issues and so far it hasn't vanished again.  Must have been a one-off issue, probably just failed to download or render that one time for some reason.
