Scan could not complete. An error has occurred.

Among the many issues we experience with Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection, hanging programs, endpoint agent service stopping, unable to run scans, endpoints not communicating with the cloud console, having to restart the service, having to uninstall and reinstall the agents, we are now unable to run scans because the "scan could not complete. An error has occurred." 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

 

If you can please run the clean tool twice again this time with a /cloud and /managed switch.


Fist use the /cloud switch described in the article. Please allow the machine to reboot once requested.

Then once back up run again with the /managed switch.

At that time we should be able to reinstall and keep the endpoints online moving forward, I believe the older versions caused a conflict with you new install.

Please let us know if the issue persists or if once cleaned and reinstalled we are able to keep these accepting commands
