Version 0.67

Recommended Posts

Hello Jean

v 067 DB:123

I have that same 730 error, and the ignore list did not take. Restart mbam and got the same 730 error again, closing it not a probblem. Continue with quick scan and got this error: Runtime error "13" type mismatch, close error finish scanning. reran mbam and the 730 error showed up only.

I uninstalled, re-installed (from 0.65 installer, the latest I have). updated to 0.67, unzipped the ref file and replaced the one in the program folder with it.

Still getting the 730 error when I open, still can't add a detection to the ignore list. Updated to db version 124- same thing.

(All the above done with my resident AV, Windows Defender, and BOClean scanners disabled)

Howdy,

I didn't uninstalled anything nor used the attached defs file, only MBAM functions...

- upgrade from 0.66/122/6330 to 0.67/123/6345 -> Latest news only says (08/03/07) Version 0.66 released.

- update to 0.67/124/6376

- Quick Scan -> 6 minutes 0 second for 14,192 objects ie 2,365.3 objects/minute -> 0 infection -> Still Scan in progess instead of progress

- Full Scan in progress

Marcin,

Don't worry about the typo... it's not the most important!

- Full Scan -> 46 min. 29 sec. for 72,640 objects ie 1,562.15 objects/minute = a bit faster!-> 14 infectious files <- well known! no problem!

Fine for me! Results as expected!

Hello

I removed v.067/reinstalled v.065 > reupdated to v.67 with DB124 > replaced old ref filed w/new zipped ref file. Open MBAM and did quick scan no problems, until I try to add to Ignore list and I got the Error code:730 I now get the 730 code error when opening MBAM, no problem scanning.

Edit: Hope I'm not out of line with this question.

Does MBAM really need a Ignore List?

Hi Jean, sho-dan, hi everyone,

IMHO, an Ignore list is absolutely necessary to solve the possible issues with some undetected specific FPs (someone with a rare application)!

No joy here.

No matter how many times I uninstall/re-install/update, I still get the 730 error. Even with the db version 125/6466 finger prints.

I'm sure it will have to come out in a new version. Marcin and I just worked it out via Window Live Messenger, and he fixed my faulty version. So now he can do a new version with it fixed. :D

Hello Marcin

The Comodo popup thread is closed. If this in the wrong place, Please move it if needed.

Thank You

Comodo firewall users, this setup will stop the many comodo popup boxes. Click Allow for the MBAm updater, I now only get this one now. (Let me know if this works.)

0pen Comodo Firewall, on the menu page > clic Application Behavior Analysis > clic Configure in Miscellaneous > Slide the Alert Freguency Level toggle to Very Low.

1.In the 'How many alerts at a time should be displayed' box, change it to 1.

2.How long should an alert remain on the screen if left unanswered box, change to 20 sec.

Option: Uncheck the 2 automatically check boxes in Program Settings.

Click OK and close

Cheers

Edit: me so sorry, Jean :D
