My most recent posting yielded no replies, so I reposted with MBAE 1.12.1.58 in the title this time. This version still does not address the issue I'm experiencing. I've just completed installing all Windows Updates for April Patch Tuesday, and re-installed MBAE 1.12.1.58. I tested it out by opening msWord2010, clicked on "Insert" in the ribbon at the top of Word, navigated to "Documents" in the far left pane of Windows Explorer, and as soon as I did, the same popup appeared; it also terminated Word.

Hi motjr,

Thanks for posting. Can you please provide us some logs. We will look into it as soon as possible.

ZIP the entire contents (ALL the files, not just .LOG) of the MBAE user data directory and attach them to your post. The directory is hidden by default so you might have to click on "View -> Hidden items" in Explorer to see it. If you are replying to someone else's post, you can click the "More reply options" button at the end of the page to get the file attachment options. You can find the logs in the following locations:

  1. Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit
  2. Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8: C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit

Workaround:

Can you please uncheck this protection. This will serve as a temporary workaround, while we fix this issue. Thanks.

MBAE 1.12.1.67 corrects a possible FP for blocked hollowed process in Office 97and also Publisher 2000 which occurred with MBAE 1.12.1.58.  Word 97 and then Publisher 2000 were pushing output to a printer when the assumed FP occurred.
