How can I identify a folder to scan?

I've mirrored a wordpress site that is infected with malware and would like to scan it

In addition, Malwarebytes for Mac does not yet allow custom scans, but I understand it is under consideration for future development.

I ran across this question while trying to learn if Malwarebytes 3 atumatically scans connected auxilliary drives. I presume from the answers to this question there is not currently a way to scan an aux drive if it does not do so automatically if one is connected to the computer. Am I correctin this assumption? Thanks.

It's still not a capability of Malwarebytes for Mac and may never be. It only checks locations where malware is known to download and / or install on the user's boot drive. If the auxiliary drive is bootable, you would need to install Malwarebytes on that drive and scan it while booted from it.

If it's a TimeMachine drive, then it really isn’t a good idea to scan it with anything. Takes way too long and cannot quarantine or delete anything it finds. Similar problems arise with other types of backup drives. If you ever need to restore from backup, conduct a scan immediately after.
