flintknapper Posted August 25, 2009 ID:114725 Share Posted August 25, 2009 69.89.31.149 My site lunagirl.com is hosted on this Bluehost server. There is no malware of any kind there; I assume someone else hosted there has malware. Like many sites, we share a server with maybe 50 other sites.I had to remove Malwarebytes from my computer to even get to my own website! I see now that I could have turned off the feature, but removing the program did the trick.
MysteryFCM Posted August 25, 2009 ID:114856 Share Posted August 25, 2009 This IP is on a range that is currently blocked due to over 50 malicious domains being present. Sadly BlueHost have failed to both respond to abuse reports, and take down the malicious domains.I'd strongly recommend moving your site to a non-malicious IP range. I'll take it up with Bluehost, not that I expect them to take any real action. After all, they're making more money on hosting these 50+ nogoodnik sites than they are on me.If it's not inappropriate to ask, can anyone recommend a good conscientious hosting company? Perhaps one that offers affordable dedicated servers for a small business?
