Jax765 Posted April 2, 2018 ID:1229179 Share Posted April 2, 2018 After installing the latest version of MB3, I've been getting an issue with folders on my PC randomly being "in use", preventing me from moving or renaming them. Initially thought it might be some sort of issue with explorer.exe, but twice now, the issue has gone away after quitting Malwarebytes. Is there a way to prevent this behaviour? It's incredibly obnoxious.

Nelsonian Posted April 2, 2018 ID:1229217 Share Posted April 2, 2018 I had the same problem, which caused me troubles for days and finally screwed up a major backup process. Thinking it was a problem with my apps, I spent hours of trial and error before discovering that MBAM was the problem. Before you guys release a new version, at least check the basics eg does it keep folders and USB drives locked.
