Solution exile360 Posted March 26, 2018 Solution ID:1227136 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Greetings, It appears you are using version 3.3.1. The most recent version of Malwarebytes is the recently released 3.4.4 which includes several improvements and bugfixes, including several for issues related to various protection components failing to start. Please open Malwarebytes and go to Settings>Application and click on the Install Application Updates button and allow it to download and install the new version, rebooting if prompted to complete the installation process. If that fails for any reason then please try downloading and installing it directly from here. Please let us know how it goes and if the issue persists or not. BernardNico Posted March 26, 2018 Author ID:1227158 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Hi Exile, Thank you for your support. I did the update and now the problem is solved ! Thank you ! I checked for updates but I misinterpreted the message on the dashboard which was saying that all was uptodate (I suppose it was meaning the virus signature database). Have a good day Bernard
exile360 Posted March 26, 2018 ID:1227159 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Excellent, I'm glad I was able to help and you're very welcome Yes, the item on the Dashboard is only referring to database updates for the threat detection signatures and block lists used by Malwarebytes, not the actual program upgrades. If there's anything else we can help you with please don't hesitate to let us know. Thanks
