Pippa Posted March 25, 2018 ID:1227021 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Hi, I'm not sure this is the right place to post this doubt. I apologize if it's not. I had a notebook infected with spyware. I used a usb network adapter with it (to connect to the internet with ethernet cable) and wanted to know if it's safe to use it with a new computer. The model was a digitus 10/100 mbps network usb adapter. I thank you in advance for your help.

Solution exile360 Posted March 25, 2018 Solution ID:1227046 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Yes, it should be perfectly safe. The USB network adapter doesn't have any flash memory/storage for spyware/malware to write any data to, so it can't be infected that way.
