IPS and GDPR related update -- Cookies Banner

Hi everyone,

With the latest forums update, IPS provided us with additional tools and features to help us better protect your privacy.

You can read more about their General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance related update here. Many of these we were already using (and still are) but we wanted to call out specifically a change we adopted.

Starting today, if you are viewing the forums as a guest or are not signed in, you will see a new banner pop up at the bottom of the page with the following message:

The use of cookies on the Malwarebytes forums are not new, but we are choosing to be more upfront about it to guests and new users -- something new the IPS update allows us to do.

We did not update our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, nor Community Guidelines.
