If you are having technical issues with our Windows product, please do the following:

If you haven't done so already, please run these two tools and then attach the logs in your next reply:

NOTE: The tools and the information obtained is safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.

  • Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST)
    1. Download FRST and save it to your desktop
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit
    2. Double-click to run FRST and when the tool opens click "Yes" to the disclaimer
    3. Press the "Scan" button
    4. This will produce two files in the same location (directory) as FRST: FRST.txt and Addition.txt
      • Leave the log files in the current location, they will be automatically collected by mb-check once you complete the next set of instructions
  • MB-Check
    1. Download MB-Check and save to your desktop
    2. Double-click to run MB-Check and within a few second the command window will open, press "Enter" to accept the EULA then click "OK"
    3. This will produce one log file on your desktop: mb-check-results.zip
      • This file will include the FRST logs generated from the previous set of instructions
      • Attach this file to your forum post by clicking on the "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." or simply drag the file to the attachment area

Can you please provide the logs as requested. Also if possible can you please attach a screenshot of what you saw.

Thank you.

I managed to restore the system, before installing version 3.4.4. The point is to note that Malwarebytes 3.4.4 was installed, which should not be the case. It is supposed to restore the system. I had version 3.3.1 when I created the restoration point. I wonder will it be necessary to uninstall version 3.4.4 and then reinstall.

Reporting that in Windows 10 Pro Fall Creators Update was installed and executed without any problem.
But here the problem arose when I rebooted the PC and Malwarebytes 3.4.4 did not start.
Run the removal tool and then reinstall version 3.3.1.
Unfortunately I had to be forced to return to stable version 3.3.1. I think version 3.4.4 should still be in beta.

Yes, attaching the requested

Update to version 3.4.4 with the installer located at C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\instlrupdate

For some reason when it was updated within the program the above mentioned problems occurred. Install version 3.4.4 from the installer on my 2 PCs with Windows 8.1 and 10 and so far everything is working perfect.

Hmm ... ¿puedes entrar en más detalles sobre qué está pasando exactamente? Estoy mostrando que instaló 3.4.4 y luego usó su computadora correctamente durante 3 horas antes de volver a 3.3.1

Thanks for your help, but the problem was solved. End the topic. regards
