Unable to Update

I tried to update to malwarebytes 3.3 and got error message:

unable to create the directory

c:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\is-B53HJ-temp

So I uninstalled malwarebytes and attempted a new install but am getting the same message with the final entry after c:\... Local\Temp\is-ML350.tmp

Sorry to bother but I have no clue what I'm doing and really use your software.  Wish I hadn't monkeyed with it. Thank you.

Do you possibly have a RAM drive setup?

If not--Could you see if you can access your %temp% location?

  1. Click "(Windows) + R" keys -- A "Run" window will come up
  2. Type in "%temp%" and hit "Ok"
  3. If Temp opens, try to right click on a blank space, go to "New" and select "Folder"
  4. Let me know if you are able to create a blank folder
