WeAreMarshall Posted August 22, 2009 ID:113436 Share Posted August 22, 2009 I've had a Malware program like this before on my computer, but i cleaned it off by simply running Malwarebytes in safe mode. However, this one is a bit more aggressive and I can't run MBAM or HJT regardless of name changes, etc... I also have a hard time even performing google searches and finding helpful info online due to malicious redirects.Long story short, I can't post logs for anything because Malwarebytes only runs for about 30 seconds and HJT won't install period. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post please post the one that is not minimized.Next, or if that does not work, please run a GMER Rootkit scan:Download GMER's application from here:http://www.gmer.net/gmer.zipUnzip it and start the GMER.exeClick the Rootkit tab and click the Scan button.Once done, click the Copy button.This will copy the results to your clipboard.Paste the results in your next reply.Warning ! Please, do not select the "Show all" checkbox during the scan.Next, or if that doesn't work, please download Win32kDiag.exe by AD to your Desktop. Double click on it. Norton 360 does not run, malwarebytes runs for a few seconds "preparing to scan", HJT will not run, neither will dds. I have gotten gmer to run and still waiting on the scan results.
