How to uninstall Ask Toolbar in Opera ? regarding Secunia secure browsing.

Have you tried deleting the Ask toolbar in Add/Remove Programs via the Control Panel, if not there try this:

Open Opera > click Tools > Preferences(Ctrl+F12) > Advanced then click Toolbars. If Ask toolbar is showing in Toolbar setup, delete it

Also you can use the Search option via the the Start button.

Are you referring to the Opera Web Browser?

The Ask search field is a default part of the Speed Dial page in Opera, even though no Ask software comes with it. If you want to remove it from the Opera Web Browser, then you need to go into Opera's preferences (Alt+P or Ctrl+F12 on your keyboard) and click on the 'Search' tab. You can not only delete any searches you don't want, but you can also edit them and set a new default search and set a new Speed Dial search.

Personally, I like having Wikipedia Search on my Speed Dial.
