Malwarebytes makes the other programs crash while running

Recommended Posts

Hi,

It's been a week that my computer started to slow down, after a few days Chrome was crashing for no reason, same for Word. I checked the ressources usage and I saw that Malwarebytes was using more than 30% of the processor and the memory, without performing an analysis. The internet protection of Malwarebytes was disabled, and I couldn't start it back. When Malwarebytes is turned off, everything runs fine and fast, it's just when I launch it now that after 15 min everything crashes - the last time I got a nice black screen.

The logs are attached, I managed to do an Mbam scan but it's not finding anything.

Thank you by advance for your help !

Hello @karabobera and :welcome:

Are you using these proxy settings on purpose?

AutoConfigURL: [S-1-5-21-1208088736-1399781423-2198923231-1001] => hxxp://www.fontainebleau.ensmp.fr/proxy.pac

ManualProxies: 0hxxp://www.fontainebleau.ensmp.fr/proxy.pac

I don't see an obvious reason for crashing or causing any conflict. Let's try do a clean removal and reinstall. Please follow the directions below.

MB-Clean

Thanks

Ron
