PC is infected

Recommended Posts

I have read numerous instruction on how to rid my PC, but I don't have time or the patience to further my research. I am posting here I guess. I hope someone can help me!! I have a Dell inspiron 6400 XP media edition. I also have Bit defender internet security 2009. I have run several scans and nothing . BD did not detect them . I ran spyware doctor and it found trojans fakealert trojan. pc scanned again and again updates and everything. nothing. Now my pc won't start up at all .I get the black screen after i see the microsoft widows screen. I went to safemode with networking but my intel proset wireless card is disabled. I havent tried hard wiring to the router yet. Before all this I downloaded malwarebytes and i cant run it .

Whatever I have it won't let me start up normally.

I hope I don't have to reinstall!

Hi and welcome to the forum! :(

Scan and post logs - read note at bottom in green

If you're having Malware related issues with your computer that you're unable to resolve.

1. Please read and follow the instructions provided here: I'm infected - What do I do now?

2. If needed please post your logs in a NEW topic here: Malware Removal - HijackThis Logs

3. When posting logs please do not use any Quote, Code, or other tags. Please copy/paste directly into your post and do not attach files unless requested.

* Please do not post any logs in the General forum. We do not work on any logs posted in the General forum.

* Please do not install any software or use any removal/scanning tool except for those you're requested to run by the Helper that will assist you.

* Using these other tools often makes the cleanup task more difficult and time consuming.

* If you have already submitted for assistance at one of the other support sites on the Internet then you should not post a new log here, you should stay working with the Helper from that site until the issue is resolved.

* Do not assume you're clean because you don't see something in the logs. Please wait until the person assisting you provides feedback.

* There are often many others that require asistance as well, so please be patient. If no one has responded within 48 hours then please go ahead and post a request for review

* NOTE: If for some reason you're unable to run some or any of the tools in the first link, then skip that step and move on to the next one. If you can't even run HijackThis, then just proceed and post a NEW topic as shown in the second link describing your issues and someone will assist you as soon as they can.

Thank you. I did another update for spyware doctor and full system scan and it found the following

My global action list found rootkit. TDSS and it's action is blocked . Will this stay out or do I need to check the settings? also it has quarantined trojan clicker, trojan fakealert, rogue antispyware 36 of these. what do I do?

Sorry macmatt, it seems that the Malwarebytes staff don't want me to give you any advice. As you can see, my previous offer of help I posted in this thread has been deleted by a forum mod or admin. I don't want to upset anybody. So I'm afraid you'll have to wait until someone replies to your other thread in the 'Malware Removal - HijackThis Logs' forum.

I know they are very busy, but hopefully you should get a reply in the next day or two.

I will be keeping an eye on your other thread to see if anybody actually manages to fix your problem. Best of luck mate, and I hope you get some help soon.
