How do I turn off auto renewal of subscrription?

How do I turn off auto renewal of subscription? I was promised an option to do so when installing Malwarebytes Premium. Now there seems to be no way to do it! Don't be the malware you claim to protect us from! I have tried from the My Account Link and through https://estore.malwarebytes.com/myaccount/my_license/

Either you have overlooked this option or have made it unavailable by design. neither gives me much confidence in Malwarebytes! Please correct the situation so I don't have to contact my bank telling them not to authorize any future payments.

How do I cancel auto renewal of Malwarebytes? I was promised upon installation that I could easily cancel auto renewal through My account Link in Malwarebytes Program. Now this seems to not be the case. I don't know whether this is accidental or by design but if not corrected this seems like a deceptive business practice. i will pursue action with my bank if necessary to ensure no payments in the future. I won't mind renewing my subscription, (providing these discrepancies are corrected). but at a time of my choosing not automatically! As it turns out I just found the info needed. I had to cancel through aphone call to Avangate. What a pain in the ass! I just spent an hour finding this information! Malwarebytes should remedy this and make the process available through the program itself with valid links to do so and make auto renewal optional at installation! I am seriously considering another antimalware program when this subscription runs out especially considering that it seems like Malwarebytes has frozen my browser and computer several times! WTF!

Avangate is a third party reseller which explains why you had to contact them directly as they would be the ones handling the billing for your license/renewals rather than Cleverbridge, which is the company that handles licensing/purchases for Malwarebytes when purchased directly from the company/through Malwarebytes.  Currently the My Account feature cannot tie into third party resellers for handling autorenewal settings/license purchase options and implementing it in such a way as to be capable of it would require that all builds include this functionality for every new reseller, big and small, that sells Malwarebytes; something not likely to ever happen (and I've never seen a single AV/AM vendor that did either for such cases) especially since other resellers/vendors may have different purchase agreements and refund/renewal policies.

Should you desire to have things function in a more streamlined fashion, I'd suggest that rather than renewing your license through Avangate, you instead purchase your next license/renewal through Malwarebytes/Cleverbridge if possible.  That should give you the functionality you desire and eliminate the headaches.
