another Malware protection cannot turn on

Hi,

Thanks for helping out.

On a windows server 2003 (yes old, i know) I installed version 3.3.1.2183. Exploit protection works, I can scan and clean, but "web protection" and "malware protection" cannot be turned on. For now this is the trial version to see if I can get everything working.

I tried the mbclean method with a reinstall, same result.

I am not allowed to put the result files (both before and after the MbClean method) in this message but can sent them to someone privately.

We do not support consumer versions of Malwarebytes on Server Operating Systems. We allow it to install but it is officially designed for consumer use. Also, Windows XP and Windows Vista systems do not support Ransomware Protection. Since Windows Server 2008 and Vista were built together, the same applies to it (Server 2008) and Server 2003.

Best to not install it on any server. There are products designed for servers in the business offerings.
