Bad bad malware Android

Apologies if this has been covered already but I have an issue. When I run a free scan it discovers Cootek malware. 

I run off Android 6, Virgin Mobile. 

My issues have been:

- When uninstalling or disabling apps the storage will delete for a bit then go back to full saying I have no space to download anything. Bloating malware?

- cannot access my 16GB SD card and when downloading a file it says I cannot open the because the card is full.

- push  notifications keep occuring when disabling or uninstalling apps.

- weird behavior within apps after clearing cache and data and reinstalling.

- Ran a scan and only threat was Cootek?

Recommendations?

Hi @wilhan01,

Cootek is simply adware.  Thus, although it make take up bandwidth to show ads, it shouldn't take up storage on your device.

Did you, or do you have an app that downloads media such as magazines, books, etc?  Those tend to take up a lot of space.
