IE is poping up "Warning..."

My wife's pc is getting the "Warning your PC...." with SOUND and VOICE!!!

Can someone help to get rid of this...

Similar to these ? Just use task manager and close the browser.

I have created a ¹series of videos generated from these fraud sites for the purposes of recognition and education.  They are all  videos from real web sites.  ALL are FRAUDS.

All these have one thing in common and they have nothing to do with any software on your PC.  They are all nefarious web sites meant to defraud you of money. The objective is to, falsely, goad you to make the phone call and pay for some service contract for an incident that never happened.  From there they may continue to charge your Credit Card for other services, remote into your computer and do real damage and/or exfiltrate your personal data and they may use the information they obtain from you to commit additional frauds.

so if it is not something (virus or such) on her PC - is there a way to block this?

She was on JCPenny's website once and our e-mail site once when this came up...

Does that mean anything???

To stop it, close the Browser.  It does not come from your PC.  It emanates from the Internet due a malvertisement on JC Penny or other web site showing advertisements.

Nope.  Welcome to the real world of the Internet.  Full of fraud, mischievousness and danger.  I created the content for the purpose of recognition and education so people would  be less likely to fall victim to the fraudsters BS.  Knowing and understanding is called Situational Awareness.
