Yikes, thanks for the info.  I hope that MS doesn't ignore us Windows 7 users this time around like they did with the last round of patches.  If they do, they're probably going to have a lot of infected users out there considering Windows 7's current market share.

I got the MRT, the monthly rollup and some updates for Office 2010 (the version I have installed) and everything went fine with no updating issues this time around.

I don't know if I received any of the microcode updates but I doubt it considering MS' policy on the use of Kaby Lake CPUs with Windows 7 (my current system configuration) so I'm hoping that my laptop OEM (Eurocom) will provide a patched bios containing the new microcode updates from Intel.
