I guess a factory reset is a definite option, it really depends on how far that would take you back and what you would lose... All necessary data could be backed up, any software etc would have to be reinstalled. There would also be all Windows updates, possibly SP1 (service pack 1)

A factory reset is really your choice, is that what you want to do..?
