Licence been downgraded

Recommended Posts

Good Day & happy new year

Just wondering if anyone on here can help please, whilst updating my pc Malwarebytes asked me to upgrade to the latest version ,which I did however even though it had previously deactivated my licence after installation it has gone to a premium trial version,. I tried activating my licence but am getting message  "usage level has  exceeded the maximum  installations allowed" if I click on deactivate other licences I get a message saying "something has gone wrong please contact support.I believe I will require my licence key reset and have contacted support. This once happened before but as support were very busy I found myself with quite a wait and by posting on here I was able to get the process speeded up as some kind souls who were able to get in touch with support passed my problem over my ticket number is 2179669. I would be very grateful for any help thank you.

Regards Chopster.

Hi thanks for reply

will I not end up with all my PCs unprotected ? if I do that, as it stands its only my back up pc which I only use on occasions and yesterday was such an occasion I updated windows etc and malwarebytes. My main pc and both my daughter's & wife's lap tops remain protected. So as you can see im a little reluctant to try.

Sorry to interrupt here... if you can help eleborate abit more...

On - "Besides waiting for customer support to get back to you, but if you have setup an account, you could try signing in at https://my.malwarebytes.com and deactivate all your licenses there."

Is the sign-in NOT the same as the one use to sign in the forum here??? Try using the sign-in for this forum but didint work.

Is the email required the SAME as the one use to register upon purchase? Thanks :)

Self-manage re-activation/deactivation system is the best. Thanks again for your help.
