I was hoping to get logs before you did that to let the staff look at them.

Do you have an AMD processor? Did you just get the one released for them?

these are the logs, after the fail today, but before the re-install.

Thanks for those, I will ask @dcollins to take a look.

Did it happen right after the patch reboot?

I noticed in your old post you added exceptions to Defender, do they match these?

For Defender
Add these to FILE exclusions

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbae.sys  (32bit systems only)

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbae64.sys (64bit systems only)
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\MBAMChameleon.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\MBAMSwissArmy.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mwac.sys
C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\farflt.sys

Add to Process exclusions the following files. (copy and paste works best on these)

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\MbamPt.exe
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\assistant.exe
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\MBAMWsc.exe
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbamtray.exe
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\MBAMService.exe
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\malwarebytes_assistant
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbamwow.exe

Folders
Also the MB folder in Program Files and the one in Program Data (it is hidden by default)

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes   (Enable hidden files to add this one.)

It looks like perhaps Malwarebytes shutdown earlier than expected and that  caused the issue. Let's setup some logging for the future in case this happens again, so we can try to get some details on what's going on.

  1. Download and extract the attached crash_dumps.zip file
  2. In the folder, double click the crash_dumps.reg file and choose Yes when asked to import
  3. Use your computer as normal

If you notice  the issue happen again, please look in %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps\mbamservice for any .dmp files and attach them to your reply, as these will help us figure out what's going on.
