MalwareBytes Freezes During Quarantine - Please Review My Log

Recommended Posts

Dear users of MalwareBytes

I downloaded MalwareBytes today and I ran a scan of my PC. It found 5 items as a result of the scan. However, when I attempted to Quarantine them, MalwareBytes simply freezes, where it will always be stuck on "0/5 Quarantined", and it will remain so until I completely shut MalwareBytes down.

I have downloaded ChromeFix and used it to run a scan my system. I have attached the log as a .txt file for viewing.

Could anyone who has knowledge of how I could fix this problem be able to offer any assistance?

For reference, I don't have any anti-virus or firewall software or installed on my system. I am running Windows 7 SP1.

Many thanks

Dear Kevin

Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated.

I have downloaded FRST64.exe and have performed a scan of my system. Attached to this post is the logs of "FRST.txt", and "Addition.txt", as per requested.

Please review the information for me and let me know if there is anything else you need me to do.

Thank you very much.

Kind regards

Run the MGA Diagnostic Tool and post back the report it creates:

  • Download MGADiag from here: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 and save it to your desktop.
  • Double-click on MGADiag.exe to launch the program
  • Click "Continue"
  • Ensure that the "Windows" tab is selected (it should be by default).
  • Click the "Copy" button to copy the MGA Diagnostic Report to the Windows clipboard. (Do not worry about any errors at this point, paste will still work)
  • Paste the MGA Diagnostic Report back here in your next reply.
