Version 7.0.5.0 shuts down without completing scan

When I press "Scan", the scan starts, but then the program terminates without completing the scan.

Are you referring to AdwCleaner v7.0.5?  Malwarebytes has a separate forum board for this tool at https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/187-malwarebytes-adwcleaner/  and you might find an answer there if someone doesn't post back in this thread with a solution.

See Ried's pinned post AdwCleaner ''unhandled unknown exception error" if you see this error message after starting your scan.

Yes I'm referring to AdwCleaner v7.0.5.0.  It shuts down when starting the Heuristic Analysis, with no error message.

Hello jfringer,

Please run AdwCleaner in debug mode.

Open AdwCleaner and click Tools > Options and place a check in the box next to Debug Logs

Run another scan.

Please attach the C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner_Debug.log

I deleted the program, then reinstalled it.  That seems to have fixed the problem (for now).
