Strange startup noise + MBAM BSOD

Recently, I discovered that my computer makes a strange noise upon startup. During a voice chat with a friend, my computer BSOD'd while I was attempting to perform a Malwarebytes scan and upon startup, my Desktop remained as a black screen and didn't load for a good 5 minutes or so. A few moments before it finally decided to start loading everything, I heard something that I can only described as a "pixellated bloop." I don't restart/shut down my computer very often, and when I do, I almost never do it with sound turned on, so I can't really even give an estimate as to when this may have started happening.

My computer had never taken this long to load before, either. I've had a startup time issue for a while now but it never lasted very long (it would usually only take a minute or two, if that). I suspect the startup time may be related to a program I installed not long before I performed a scan that day but I highly doubt it, and quite frankly I'm too scared to test whether it is or not anyway.

I've been unable to perform an MBAM scan for months, so I don't know if there's anything lurking in my computer that I'm not aware of and that my AV alone cannot detect.

I'd also like to know if its possible to get my MBAM bluescreen situated sorted in case its related to whatever may be going on or if I'll have to make a thread in a different section of the forums. (The first BSOD was after I performed a first-time scan after updating it to the latest version, and the second time was many months later when the events in this post took place.)

I would recommend that you temporarily uninstall your AVG antivirus. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus temporarily while we look at what's going on with your computer.

Also you have an older version of Java that may be compromised. Please uninstall all version of Java from your Control Panel, Programs, Add/Remove.

Once that's all done then do a scan with Microsoft Security Essentials and see if it finds any threats or not and let me know.

I temporarily disabled AVG instead of fully uninstalling it if that's okay. I also uninstalled Java. The first-time scan didn't detect anything.

Actually I'm betting, hoping that AVG is part of your issues. I've seen it many times here on the forums where AVG has some how become corrupted and caused many issues. A clean removal, scan, fix and reinstall normally corrects it. So, I would like to have you remove it and have us do some other scans and see if we can get your computer running better.

As a side note, AVG has been sold to Avast antivirus (who currently still markets AVG but not sure how long before they blend it in with their main product).

I uninstalled AVG and rebooted my computer. The strange noise was there again and I still had the terrible load time. I ran a full scan with Windows Essentials and it didn't detect anything.

Let me have you run the following. It will do some basic clean up and run a Full disk check. The disk check could take a couple of hours or more to run depending on the speed of your computer, but please let it run till it completes.

Please download the attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop.
NOTE. It's important that both files, FRST or FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on this particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system.

Run FRST or FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
If the tool needs a restart please make sure you let the system restart normally and let the tool complete its run after restart.
The tool will make a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please attach or post it to your next reply.

Note: If the tool warned you about an outdated version please download and run the updated version.

The fix went very quickly but now my computer is stuck in a boot loop. I need this to be fixed asap.

Shut the power down. Wait a couple minutes and restart it again.

All we did was tell it to run a disk check. We did not remove any malware or make changes to the computer.

I don't know what may have happened, but even after waiting for hours before powering my machine back up, its still in the same situation as before. There is a blue screen right after the first Windows logo before immediately rebooting again. Safe Mode suffers the same issue.

That appears to be a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) issue. Not sure why, but possibly bad sectors on the hard drive and when the disk check ran it could have marked areas of the disk to not use that contained files from Windows.

When the computer starts to boot up, start tapping the F8 key and see if you get a boot option that say to use the Last Known Good Configuration and select that.

I attempted Last Known Good Configuration and it didn't work. I'm going to assume this is due to me attempting to reboot again and trying to use Safe Mode.
